After more than 20 years of having our main location in Naaldwijk at the place where Media Choice started long time ago, we moved to our renewed location in Hilversum. In this way we can join forces even more. Centrally located and in the media city par excellence!

We already 'lived' partly in Hilversum with our Filmpartners activities, so the location may be known to some of you. In recent months there has been a lot of renovation and we are still busy in the coming period to finalize our new home as Media Choice and Filmpartners together.

Since October 2020, Media Choice is empowered as selected partner of Amazon Prime Video for Global Video-on-Demand delivery. From the beginning of this year, Media Choice delivers a new service to the Amazon-streaming service, namely Linear TV delivery from its Playout Center and Channelstore for existing and new customers.

Media Choice is proud of the new collaboration and thus expands its range of services. In addition to the delivery of VOD content, Media Choice also delivers Linear TV content from its own Channelstore on behalf of its customers – with OUTtv as the first customer and more to follow soon – to Amazon Prime Video (Channels). This new linear service is fully scalable and (GEO-) redundant, using the proven and reliable Media Choice Private Broadcast (Cloud) Network, so the highest standards can be met, both at technical and at service level.

Amazon Prime Video offers subscribers original content from Amazon Studios, as well as popular movies and television series from other entertainment companies. Furthermore, the streaming service offers, for a monthly fee, more channels with Prime Video Channels. This service allows subscribers to add subscriptions to third-party networks and streaming channels that are not already included in Amazon’s Prime Video service.

Some channels also offer the Watch Live feature, which gives subscribers the option to live-stream programming on supported devices while it is being broadcast on TV. Media Choice delivers content from OUTtv with its Linear TV delivery service, which can be watched live in the Netherlands since March 5th 2021 and in Germany since March 11th 2021.

BBC Studios (BBCS) has selected Media Choice to contribute and distribute their premium channels, like the popular channel BBC First, exclusively in the Benelux towards all TV operators in the Netherlands and Belgium.

We will pick up these (premium) channels in cooperation with and from BCCS’s other partner SES from their London and Munich facility to distribute these channels to the TV operators, using our proven and reliable Private Broadcast (Fibre) Network and Media Platforms.

We already have presence in several European most relevant POP’s, which are connected via the highest quality fibre connections, fully redundant, to contribute and distribute these premium (live) signals.

To offer and complete the contribution and distribution services, we invested in different locations (GEO-redundant) to downlink signals from their Satellite facilities lately. Of course, the contribution and distribution services could also be delivered with full OTT secured and reliable transport methods. This way we can offer a complete high-end contribution and distribution service to our customers.

As a company that already is being known offering playout services, like ad-/program insertion, (cloud based and/or traditional lineair) playout and non-broadcast/OTT media services, we have grown rapidly on our contribution and distribution services across Europe the last couple of years.

Therefore, we are proud to add BCCS as a very well-respected media organization.

BBCS agreed on a multi-year long term collaboration with us and is an extension of an already existing agreement.

Media Choice has been servicing Disney for multiple years with localised playout (ad-insertion) and channel delivery to operators in the Benelux. Besides the Disney Jr. localised versions (Belgian Flanders/Wallonia), FOX choses also to work with Media Choice for National Geographic Channel to make a localised version in Belgian Wallonia and to distribute it out to the operators. Starting October 1st 2019.
